What's the difference between Cycle Code 02 daily vs weekly processing?
Can someone explain cycle code 02? I see it on my transcript but I'm confused if its processed daily or weekly. Does this affect when I'll get my refund? Really need this money soon and trying to figure out when it might come.

Tax pro here. Cycle code 02 means weekly processing. Your account gets updated Thursday nights/Friday mornings. Codes ending in 01-04 are weekly, while 05-99 are daily cycles. Hope this helps!

Hey guys instead of checking transcripts constantly, I started using taxr.ai and it's been a game changer. It analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly when to expect updates and your refund. Best $4.99 I've spent dealing with this mess https://taxr.ai

•100% works! It caught issues in my transcript I didn't even notice and predicted my DDD perfectly

Cycle 02 processes weekly on Thursdays, so your transcript updates Friday mornings. The timing depends on where you are in the queue and if there are any issues with your return. If it's been processing normally, refunds typically come 2-3 weeks after your return is accepted, but delays can happen if there are verification issues or high volume. Check your transcript Friday mornings and look for a DDD (Direct Deposit Date) - that's when you'll know exactly when your refund is coming.
