This is actually pretty common during tax season. The IRS systems don't always update transcripts immediately after accepting your return. There's often a processing queue, especially if you filed during the peak period in February. Have you checked the Where's My Refund tool on the IRS website? That sometimes shows status before the transcript updates.

Yeah I checked WMR and it's still on the first bar saying 'return received' for like 6 weeks now. I'm starting to think something wrong with my return fr

I had the EXACT same issue last year! Filed Feb 15, transcript showed N/A until the end of March. Turns out there was nothing wrong - the IRS was just backed up. I started using https://taxr.ai to check my transcript once it finally appeared, and it explained all the codes and gave me a much better idea of when my refund would actually hit my account. Saved me so much stress trying to decipher all those random numbers and codes.

•Is that site legit? Never heard of it before and I'm always careful about tax stuff.

•100% legit. It doesn't ask for any personal info beyond what's already on your transcript. It just explains what all the codes mean specifically for your situation, not just generic definitions. Way more helpful than the IRS website that just gives you basic descriptions.

Did you claim any credits like the Earned Income Credit or Child Tax Credit? Those automatically get extra review time and can delay processing by weeks. Also, if this is your first time filing or you have a significantly different return than last year, that can trigger additional verification steps.

I know it's frustrating, but N/A transcript doesn't necessarily mean anything's wrong. It just means your return hasn't been fully processed through their system yet. The IRS is dealing with millions of returns, and February filers often wait longer than people who file in January or April.

When I was in this situation (waited over 2 months last year), I finally got tired of checking and called the IRS. Spent 3 days trying to get through before I found Claimyr (https://claimyr.com). They got me connected to an actual IRS agent in about 15 minutes. The agent confirmed my return was just in normal processing and nothing was flagged. Got my refund about a week later. Worth it just for the peace of mind.

Check your Return Transcript instead of Account Transcript. Sometimes one will update before the other. Also, try checking on a Tuesday morning - that's when a lot of the weekly updates happen in the IRS system.
