TaxAct Alabama State Return Not Working - Says AL Not Accepting Yet but TurboTax Works?
Trying to submit my Alabama taxes thru TaxAct but keeps saying AL isnt accepting returns yet. Super frustrating because my friend just filed thru TurboTax with no issues. Anyone else having this problem with TaxAct? Starting to wonder if I should just switch tax software at this point.

Tax professional here - This is actually a known issue with TaxAct's system right now. They're having problems with their Alabama state return integration. You have 3 options: wait for them to fix it (should be within a week), switch to different software, or file directly through Alabama's website.
