Tax Return Rejected - ID PIN Issue - Anyone else deal with this?
My tax return was rejected because I didnt include an Identity Protection PIN. I found mine online but im confused why I need one all of a sudden. Anyone know if this will delay my refund? Has anyone had their return rejected for this and then got accepted after adding the PIN?

Tax pro here! The IRS assigns IP PINs when they suspect identity theft or if you've opted into the program. It's actually a good thing - keeps your return safe. Once you add the correct PIN, your return should be accepted within 24-48 hrs. Just make sure you save that PIN for next year too.
