TC766 and TC768 showing up together - What does this mean for my refund?
Just checked my transcript and noticed a new code TC766 showed up this morning but I still have the TC768 code from before. Anyone know what this means for my refund? Getting really anxious about when I'll see my money.

The TC766 is for credit reversal and TC768 is for interest assessment. When these appear together, it typically means the IRS is finalizing your account. Good news is you're probably near the end of processing. Should see movement in next 1-2 cycles if everything else looks clean on transcript.

•Cycles are weekly, usually update Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Keep an eye on your transcript those days

Hey! Instead of trying to piece together transcript codes, you should try taxr.ai - it analyzes your whole transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect your refund. Its only $1 and saved me hours of research. https://taxr.ai

•Does it actually work? Seems too good to be true tbh

•Yes! It scans everything and gives you a complete breakdown. Way better than guessing from random codes

Don't stress too much, those codes usually mean good news. I remember being confused af when I saw them too but got my refund like 10 days later
