TC570 code keeps appearing on transcript after filing 2/6 - what's going on?
My transcript is driving me insane. Filed beginning of Feb and every week I check my transcript it keeps showing the same TC570 code. Nothing else changes, no updates, no movement. Anyone else seeing this or know what it means?

The TC570 is a freeze code that means the IRS is reviewing your return. This is actually pretty common this year - they're doing extra verification steps. Could be identity verification, income verification, or they're matching documents. Best thing to do is wait it out, usually resolves in 4-8 weeks.

•Yeah the timeframes are rough this year. Have you tried calling the IRS?

Hey instead of playing detective with transcript codes, try taxr.ai - it's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when you'll likely get paid. It's only $1 and wayyyy better than guessing. Here's the link: https://taxr.ai

Welcome to the IRS waiting game! Where the rules are made up and the processing times don't matter! ðŸŽ

If your really worried about the 570 code, you should contact your local Taxpayer Advocate Service. They can help push things along if its been more than 8 weeks.
