Schedule H verification hold causing delays - IRS representatives giving conflicting info
Filed my taxes with Schedule H and now I'm getting the runaround. One IRS rep said they removed the hold to make it process, but now another rep says its flagged for Schedule H verification. Apparently everyone with Schedule H is getting flagged for proof. So frustrating getting different answers from different reps

Been dealing with this exact same issue! Filed in February with Schedule H for my nanny and got caught in this verification mess. What worked for me was calling the dedicated Schedule H line (different from regular customer service) and they walked me through exactly what docs to send. Also keep calling back if you get conflicting info - some reps are way more knowledgeable than others. Hang in there!
