PATH Act Filer - Cycle 02 - Will WMR or Transcripts Update Before Feb 15?
Filed on January 30th and got confirmation of receipt next day. Transcripts updated showing 2024 on Feb 4th and WMR showing PATH message on Feb 5th. Im cycle code 02 with dependents. Anyone know if theres any chance of seeing movement to accepted before the 15th? Or are we completely frozen until after PATH lifts?

Due to PATH Act regulations, there won't be any significant updates until after February 15th. Your cycle code 02 means your account updates on Wednesdays. The earliest possible update you might see would be February 21st (the Wednesday after PATH lifts). The IRS is legally prohibited from releasing EITC/ACTC refunds before mid-February.

hey guys instead of stressing about this every day, i started using taxr.ai and it's been a game changer. its only $1 and gives you super specific predictions based on your actual transcript data. way better than playing detective with WMR tbh https://taxr.ai

The IRS system is such a joke fr. Making us wait while they sit on our money like dragons on a gold pile 🐉

Protip: if you filed with EITC/CTC, don't even bother checking until after Presidents Day weekend. Save yourself the stress fam
