Need IRS in-person verification but haven't received letter - how to schedule appointment?
Filed months ago and they said I need to verify my identity. Still haven't gotten the letter with instructions in the mail. Getting anxious since I need this refund. Anyone know how to schedule an in-person verification appointment at the IRS office without the letter?

Pro tip: if u go to ur local taxpayer advocate office they can sometimes help u verify without the letter. Google 'TAS office near me
