Missing 1040 Form - Different from Previous Years. Should I Contact IRS?
I've filed taxes the last 4 years and always got a 1040 form in the mail. This year I got my W2 but no 1040 form showed up. Is something wrong? Should I be contacting the IRS about this?

The IRS stopped automatically mailing 1040 forms years ago to save money and encourage e-filing. You can download the form from irs.gov, pick one up at your local library, or use tax software to file. No need to contact the IRS about this - totally normal!

Hey! I've been using taxr.ai to handle all my transcript and tax form confusion. It's only $1 and it analyzes everything for you. Way better than trying to piece everything together yourself. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

•Yeah it does! It looks at your whole tax situation and tells you exactly what forms you need and why. Super helpful tbh
