"Invalid Address Error Blocks Access To All IRS Account Transcripts (2020-2023) Despite Being Visible On Official Site"

Getting super frustrated trying to access my transcripts on sa.www4.irs.gov. I'm logged into the official United States Government IRS website, and I can see all my available transcripts clearly listed right there on the Tax records / Transcripts page. I can see: 2023 Account Transcript [PDF] 2022 Account Transcript [PDF] 2021 Account Transcript [PDF] 2020 Account Transcript [PDF] There's even a "Show more transcripts" option at the bottom of the list. But every single time I try to open any of these PDFs, I get this error message that says "Could not open the page because the address is invalid." Then I have to click "OK" just to dismiss the error. The transcript page itself has information explaining that the transcripts would show changes made after the original return was filed, such as making estimated tax payments or filing an amended return. That's exactly what I need to see! I'm using LTE connection with 52% signal strength according to my phone, so my internet connection seems fine. It's 12:57 and I've been trying for almost an hour now. This is driving me crazy because these are clearly my available transcripts showing right there on the page, but I can't actually access any of them! Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it? Should I try a different browser? Different device? Call the IRS? This is on their official government website and everything (it even has that "An official website of the United States Government" and "Here's how you know" text at the top), but it's just not working.

The OCR shows you're correctly logged into the official IRS portal (sa.www4.irs.gov) and can see your Account Transcripts for tax years 2020-2023 listed as available. The error message "Could not open the page because the address is invalid" appearing despite having valid transcript listings is a technical issue, not a problem with your account access or transcript availability. The screen indicates you're in the "Tax Records / Transcripts" section, which is the correct location for viewing these documents. The presence of the official United States Government header and IRS branding confirms you're on the legitimate site. The system is acknowledging your transcripts exist and even shows information about post-filing updates like estimated tax payments and amended returns. This is typically a browser-side issue rather than an IRS server problem. Try these solutions: - Clear your browser cache and cookies - Switch to Google Chrome (the IRS site is optimized for it) - Use incognito/private browsing mode - Ensure your ID.me or IRS secure access authentication is current - If using a mobile device (indicated by the LTE signal in the OCR), try on a desktop computer instead

Have you tried accessing it during non-peak hours? Like early morning or late evening? Sometimes the servers get overloaded

Hey guys instead of playing detective with these transcript errors, I've been using taxr.ai and it's been a game changer. It costs $1 but it analyzes everything automatically and tells you exactly what's going on. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

Yeah it's legit! You upload your transcript and it breaks down all the codes, tells you when to expect your refund, and flags any issues that might be holding things up. Way better than trying to decode everything yourself
