IRS Zero Communication for 2024 Tax Season Already Making Me Lose My Mind

Is anyone else getting ghosted by the IRS this tax season? Filed early thinking it would be different this year but nope same old story. WMR tool just shows processing and the IRS phone line might as well be a brick wall. Like how hard is it to just tell us what's going on with our money?

Tax advocate here - the IRS is actually dealing with a huge backlog from last year still. Best thing to do is check your transcript online, it'll tell you way more than WMR ever will.
