IRS Cycle Code 05 Update Schedule - Weekly vs Daily Updates?
Does anyone know what days cycle 05 transcripts update? I keep hearing different things. Some say only fridays others say it can be any day of the week. Getting tired of checking everyday and seeing no changes.

Cycle 05 updates primarily happen Thursday nights/Friday mornings between midnight and 6am EST. However, your account can have other updates throughout the week for things like notices or adjustments. The main processing update though is definitely Thursday night into Friday morning.

Thursdays after 12am EST is the main update. But tbh the best thing I did was stop checking manually and got taxr.ai to monitor it for me. It tells you exactly when something changes and what it means. Way better than trying to decode the transcript yourself.
