Filing 2023 taxes before IRS official start date - will they accept or hold submission?
Getting ready to file my 2023 taxes and wondering if submitting before the official start date means they'll queue it up or just reject it completely? Anyone tried filing early before?

Tax pro here - they'll accept the transmission but won't begin processing until the official start date. Your submission will basically sit in a queue. Just keep in mind that filing super early doesn't necessarily mean faster processing - they process in batches once they start.
