Filed 1/23, amended 3/7 with 1095c - Still getting error after ID.me verification, IRS says 120 days wait
Filed my taxes in January and got accepted next day but had to amend in March because of my 1095c form. Already verified through ID.me and talked to IRS directly. They're telling me to wait 120 days but my transcripts still showing an error. Anyone else dealing with this or know what to do?

The 120-day timeframe is standard for amended returns. Since you had to fax additional documentation (1095c), they need to manually review and process it. Unfortunately there's no way to expedite this process. Keep checking your transcript weekly for updates.

•ugh this is so frustrating. do you know if the 120 days starts from when i filed or when i amended?

•It starts from your amendment date (3/7). So you're looking at early July for processing.

Hey guys instead of playing detective with transcripts, I've been using taxr.ai and it's been a game changer. It costs $1 but totally worth it - gives you exact timeline predictions and explains everything. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

•Not sketch at all! You upload your transcript and their AI analyzes everything - tells you exactly whats causing delays, when to expect updates, and what actions you need to take. Way better than guessing
