EIC Credit Delay: Does Feb 15th Hold Apply to State Returns Too?
Filed my taxes with EIC and I understand the federal refund won't come until after February 15th because of the PATH Act. But does anyone know if this delay applies to state refunds too? Really need the money and wondering if I can at least count on getting the state portion earlier.

Tax pro here - The PATH Act only applies to federal refunds. Your state refund processing isn't affected by the February 15th hold date. Each state has their own processing timeframes, but they're not bound by the federal EIC rules.
