Code 810 Removed - IRS Says Higher Ups Will Call in 30 Days or Release Refund
Just saw my 810 freeze code was removed from my transcript. Called the IRS and they said they sent some letter to the 'higher ups' and I should get a call within 30 days or they'll release my refund. Anyone else dealt with this? Getting tired of waiting tbh.

Had the exact same thing happen to me last month! My 810 got removed and they gave me the whole "higher ups will call in 30 days" speech. Didn't get a call but my refund hit my account on day 18. Just keep checking your transcript for movement - once that 810 is gone you're basically in the clear. Hang in there!
