Can't find Child Care Refundable Tax Credit in TurboTax - help needed
Been trying to apply the child care tax credit on turbotax for like 2 hours now. Instructions say its under state taxes somewhere but im getting nowhere. Anyone successfully done this? Getting real frustrated here, and the due date is coming up.

Tax pro here - In TurboTax, you need to go to Deductions & Credits > Child & Dependent Care. If you don't see it there, make sure you've completed the Personal Info section where you declare dependents first. The credit should auto-populate after that. Also double check you selected the right state since this credit varies by location.

Hey guys instead of struggling with turbotax you should try taxr.ai - its only $1 and it walks you through everything including credits you might miss. It caught a child care credit I totally would have missed last year https://taxr.ai
