If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Confused: Transcript Shows $5,755 Refund with $485 Tax Due After $2,700 Advance - AGI $60,385 with Withholding/Credits Not Adding Up

I'm really confused about my refund this year. Looking at my transcript, my total refund shows -$6,755.00, and I already received an advance of $2,700. I expected the remainder to be around $2,100, but I'm seeing different numbers that aren't making sense. Here's what my transcript shows: ``` -6,755.00 0.00 AS OF: Mar. 04, 2025 0.00 AS OF: Mar. 04, 2025 payort amount): -6,755.00 ** INFORMATION FROM THE RETURN OR AS ADJUSTED ** EXEMPTIONS: FILING STATUS: ADJUSTED GROSS INCOME: 60,385.00 TAXABLE INCOME: 30,548.00 TAX PER RETURN: 485.00 SE TAXABLE INCOME TAXPAYER: 0.00 SE TAXABLE INCOME SPOUSE: 3,165.00 TOTAL SELF EMPLOYMENT TAX: 485.00 RETURN DUE DATE OR RETURN RECEIVED DATE (WHICHEVER IS LATER) Apr. 16, 2025 PROCESSING DATE Mar. 04, 2025 TRANSACTIONS CODE EXPLANATION OF TRANSACTION CYCLE DATE AMOUNT 150 Tax return filed 20250701 03-04-2025 $485.00 70221-429-96648-5 806 W-2 or 1099 withholding 04-16-2025 -$5,752.00 766 Credit to your account 04-16-2025 -$1,101.00 768 Earned income credit 04-16-2025 -$587.00 ``` The tax per return amount of $485.00 is really throwing me off - it seems like that's all we're getting which can't be right. Our AGI is $60,385.00 with taxable income of $30,548.00. I see various credits and withholdings listed: W-2/1099 withholding of -$5,752.00, another credit of -$1,101.00, and earned income credit of -$587.00. My spouse has self-employment taxable income of $3,165.00 with a total self-employment tax of $485.00. The processing date shows as Mar. 04, 2025, and the return due date is Apr. 16, 2025. The tax return filed (code 150) shows $485.00 with cycle 70221-429-96648-5. With all these numbers, especially the total refund amount of -$6,755.00, I'm completely lost on what my remaining refund should be. If I already received $2,700, shouldn't I be getting around $4,055.00 more? The numbers in the transcript aren't adding up to what I was expecting. Can someone help me make sense of these figures?

IRS Requesting 2024 Tax Return Verification Through Official Account Message - Legitimate?

I just logged into my IRS account and got this weird notification I've never seen before at sa.www4.irs.gov. Under "Notifications" it shows "2 Unread" messages, and one of them says "Verify Your Tax Return Information Now" with the message "We need more information about your 2024 tax return before it can be processed." This notification is right alongside my other account sections. Here's exactly what I'm seeing on my account page: Payments MAKE A PAYMENT View Payment Options View Payment Activity Notifications 2 Unread Refund Status Now Available Check your refund status for up to the three most recent tax years. Verify Your Tax Return Information Now We need more information about your 2024 tax return before it can be processed. Records and Status View Tax Records for: Key information from your most recent tax return Downloadable transcripts and Tax Compliance Report I was just trying to check my records and status section where they normally show key information from my most recent tax return and allow me to download transcripts and my Tax Compliance Report. I also noticed the "Refund Status Now Available" message saying I can check refund status for up to three most recent tax years. I'm concerned because I've never had to verify information like this before. The verification request appears legitimate since it's showing up on the official IRS website alongside the regular payment options and payment activity section, but I don't know if this is some new verification process they've implemented or if there's an actual issue with my tax return. Anyone else get this verification request? What should I do? Should I click on it or is this potentially suspicious even though it's on the official site?

$20,130 Credit on 2023 Transcript with Amended Return Processing - 810 Freeze Gone, When Will $19,267 Refund Arrive?

Just checked my 2023 tax transcript and noticed some activity. I downloaded my Account Transcript from the IRS website today (10-20-2024) and I'm really trying to understand what's happening with my refund. The transcript shows my filing status as Single with 01 exemption. My adjusted gross income was $22,494.00 with taxable income of $8,644.00 and tax per return of $863.00. The return was processed on 04-08-2024, and the return due date or return received date shows 04-15-2024. What caught my attention is I'm seeing a 766 credit dated 04-15-2024 for -$20,130.00 and a 971 notice dated 06-05-2024 with the description "Amended tax return or claim forwarded for processing" with an amount of $0.00. The good news is I don't see the 810 freeze code anymore that was there before! My transcript shows I currently have an account balance of $19,267.00 with no accrued interest or penalties as of 07-22-2024. The transcript specifically states "Any minus sign shown below signifies a credit amount" and shows "Account balance plus accruals (this is not a payoff amount): $19,267.00" I also notice a 960 code from 06-05-2023 showing "Appointed representative" for $0.00, which I assume refers to my POWER OF ATTORNEY/TAX INFORMATION AUTHORIZATION (POA/TIA) ON FILE that's mentioned at the top of the transcript. The transcript has a tracking number of 106777325510 and shows it was requested and responded to on 10-20-2024. Does this mean my refund is finally moving forward? Been waiting since April! I'm particularly focused on the 766 credit of -$20,130.00 and that 971 code showing an amended return or claim forwarded for processing. The fact that the 810 freeze is gone seems promising, right? Just trying to understand what all these recent transcript updates mean for my refund status!
