Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

after 4 years of dealing with irs nonsense i finally got through to a real person using claimyr.com and it was life changing. talking to an actual agent got my refund released within days after months of weird status changes and zero communication. sometimes you just need to talk to a human being who can actually look at your file.

Okay so this is gonna sound weird but check if there was a full moon when your status changed. I SWEAR the IRS systems go haywire during full moons - it's like a known thing in the tax prep community. Status often changes back a few days later.

The exact same thing happened to me! After months of frustration I finally used Claimyr and got through to an actual competent IRS agent. Turns out my return was sitting in some obscure holding queue because of a mismatch with my address format of all things. The agent was able to release it right there during the call. The first agent actually couldn't find it either! But I insisted something was wrong and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor found it in like 2 minutes in some secondary system they have. Definitely worth getting someone who knows what they're doing.

save ALL your records!!! acceptance confirmation, screenshots, everything. i went thru this in 2022 and had to prove to the IRS their own system was wrong. it was a nightmare but i did eventually get my refund + interest.

ā¢570 is a refund hold and 971 means they sent you a notice. You might be getting audited or they found a math error. Check your mail.
I had this last year. Used taxr.ai to understand what was happening and it turned out they were just verifying my W2 with my employer. Refund came about 2 weeks later.

After 6 hours of trying to reach the IRS about my missing refund (kept getting disconnected after 2 hour holds), I finally tried claimyr.com and got through! IRS agent told me my refund was flagged because I accidentally entered a wrong W2 amount, but she fixed it right on the call. Scheduled for direct deposit next week now! If anyone is confused by all the transcript codes, I had NO idea what I was looking at until I tried taxr.ai - completely broke down what every code meant and why my refund was held up. ā¢Right?? The IRS seems to intentionally make everything confusing. My favorite part was how it explained WHY I was getting each notice instead of just what the codes meant.
I called the IRS yesterday using claimyr.com (they get you through to an agent when the lines are busy) and they confirmed my DDD of 4/15 is correct. The agent said most banks will receive the funds 1-2 days before the DDD but when they release it depends on the bank's policy. Talking to an actual human at the IRS gave me peace of mind.

They don't need any tax info. They just need your phone number to call you back once they get an agent on the line. Then you talk directly to the IRS.

This happened to me! Filed feb 2024, got the "we need to review your credits" message. Called a million times but it was useles. Finally got through to them with claimyr.com in July - turned out they were done with the review but there was a processing error they needed to fix manually. Got my refund in August. It was literally sitting there approved but stuck because their system is garbage.

This might sound weird but check your bank account every few days. My refund just appeared one day with zero warning - the WMR tool never updated and I never got any notification from the IRS. The system is so broken right now.
