If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I think you should be checking for a very specific pattern of updates. Based on my experience with an amended return that required verification on March 4th, 2024, the transcript updates happened on March 18th, 2024 - exactly 14 days later. However, the actual processing didn't resume until March 25th, 2024. The verification confirmation doesn't always show up as a separate entry - sometimes it's just implied by the removal of freeze codes. If you don't see any update by April 30th, 2024, I'd be concerned that something might have gone wrong with your verification. The implications of a failed verification could mean starting the entire process over again, which would push your timeline into late May or even June.

I believe I can offer some reassurance here. I had a similar situation with an amended return that required identity verification. It may take approximately 2-3 weeks, possibly longer, for your transcript to reflect the verification was completed. This is not necessarily cause for concern, though I understand the anxiety it can create. In my case, there was no explicit "verification complete" indicator - rather, the processing simply resumed with new transaction codes appearing. The system worked as intended, albeit slowly. My amended return was ultimately processed correctly about 5 weeks after verification, which is within normal parameters for amended returns with verification holds.

I verified on April 9th and received my refund on April 25th! I had submitted all my documentation on April 10th and got a confirmation email on April 12th. Then on April 21st my transcript updated with an 846 code, and exactly 4 days later the money was in my account. The wait was so stressful because I needed it for my rent due on May 1st.

Has anyone here been through both ID verification and income verification? I'm trying to understand if what you're experiencing is similar to my situation last year where I had to verify both, which took substantially longer than just ID verification alone. In my previous experience, ID verification alone took about 2 weeks while the combined process stretched to nearly 5 weeks.

Congrats on getting thru! The ID verify process this yr is brutal. FWIW, I've helped about 30 ppl in this sub with similar issues. The key thing you did right was being persistent about not needing a letter. The IRS actually updated their internal procedures (IRM 25.25.6.1) in Jan to allow phone verification w/o letters, but many reps haven't been trained on it. For anyone else stuck: call right at 7am ET, ask specifically for TPP dept (Taxpayer Protection Program), and have ALL tax docs from last 3 yrs ready. Refunds typically process 9-14 days after successful verification.

I'm so happy you got this resolved! The emotional toll of these verification issues is something the IRS doesn't seem to understand. Did they explain why you were selected for verification in the first place? I'm wondering if there are specific triggers we should all be aware of to avoid this next year. Also, did they give you any specific timeframe for when your refund might be processed now that verification is complete?

I track my TC150 date and DDD religiously every year. My return with an EITC claim was accepted on 2/8, hit with a TC570 hold on 3/4, resolved with TC571 on 3/18, and finally got my TC846 refund issued code on 3/20. Your timeline sounds similar to what many PATH Act affected returns are experiencing this year. The processing backlog seems to be about 2-3 weeks longer than the typical 21-day timeline.

According to the IRS Operations Status page (https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-operations-during-covid-19-mission-critical-functions-continue), they're still working through a backlog from previous years while handling this year's returns. Have you checked your transcript for any specific TC codes? The Where's My Refund tool doesn't show detailed status, but your transcript can tell you exactly where you are in the process.

OMG I was literally losing my mind waiting for my refund this year! 😫 Filed on February 1st and didn't get my money until March 2nd - a whole MONTH of checking my bank account every morning! The approval came on February 28th and then the deposit hit 2 days later. I was so stressed because I needed that money for car repairs! But when it finally came through it was such a relief! šŸ˜… The waiting is the worst part, especially when you're counting on that money!

Have you perhaps considered that filing method might affect your timeline? I've noticed that people using certain tax software seem to report slightly faster processing times, though I'm not entirely sure if that's just coincidence. It might be worth checking the IRS2Go app for updates as well, if you haven't already. Sometimes it shows updates a bit sooner than the website, at least in my limited experience. Just a thought that might help while you're waiting.
