2023 Tax Return Filed 1/31: Transcript Still Completely Blank - No Movement or Identity Verification Notice
Filed and accepted on January 31st but my transcript is still completely blank. No codes, no updates, nothing at all showing up. Checked my notifications and there's no identity verification request either. Starting to get worried since its been weeks with zero movement.

This is actually pretty common right now. The IRS is experiencing significant delays in processing returns, especially early filers. A blank transcript usually means your return hasn't been processed yet - it's basically sitting in the queue. Keep checking weekly, usually updates happen on Friday mornings.

I had this happen last year and it turned out I needed to verify my identity even tho I never got a notice. Maybe try calling the ID verify hotline just to be safe?
