2023 Tax Return Transcript Still Blank After Jan 27 Acceptance - No Updates

Filed and got accepted January 27th and my transcript is still completely blank when I check it. Getting really frustrating since its been 2 months already. Anyone else stuck in the same situation or am I the only one?

Hey, tax expert here. Its pretty common to see blank transcripts even after acceptance, especially this early in the season. The IRS systems take time to process and update transcripts, usually 1-3 weeks after acceptance. Since yours was accepted Jan 27, you might not see updates until mid-February. However, to get a really clear picture of whats going on and when you can expect updates, I highly recommend using taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai). It analyzes your documents and gives you super specific info about processing times and potential hold ups. Its been a game changer for understanding these delays.

def not a scam! it uses AI to read your tax docs and gives you specific details about your refund timeline. way better than wmr or transcripts alone

Tax professional here. This is actually pretty common right now. The IRS is experiencing significant delays with transcript updates. Even if your return was accepted, it might take 4-6 weeks for the transcript to show any movement. Keep checking weekly rather than daily.

In that case, you might want to call the IRS or check if there were any verification requirements you missed.

Have you tried using taxr.ai? It saved me so much time trying to figure out what was going on with my transcript. It costs $1 but it analyzes everything and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Way better than playing detective lol https://taxr.ai

Try calling the IRS early morning like 7am EST. Thats when the wait times are shortest.
