EDD DE 429D Notice shows incorrect total wages - How to fix?
Hey everyone, I just got my DE 429D Notice of Computation and the total wages listed are completely wrong. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm freaking out because I know this affects my benefits. What should I do to get this fixed?

Ugh, been there done that. EDD's always messing up our wages 🙄 First thing you gotta do is gather all your pay stubs and W-2s. Then call them ASAP and explain the situation. Be prepared for a loooong wait time tho

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Yeah, I was skeptical at first too. But I tried it and got through in like an hour. Saved me days of frustration tbh

Listen up, I've been through this rodeo before. Here's what you need to do: • Collect all your wage info: pay stubs, W-2s, anything that shows your correct earnings • Write a clear, concise letter explaining the discrepancy • Include copies (NOT originals) of your proof • Mail it to EDD with your claim number clearly marked • ALSO fax the same info if you can • Keep trying to call, but don't rely on it • Be patient, it might take a few weeks to get sorted Remember, stay calm and document EVERYTHING. Good luck!

Quick q - how off were ur wages? Sometimes if its just a small difference they might not bother fixing it. But if its big, def fight it!

Pro tip: if u end up faxing stuff, use an online fax service. Way easier than finding an actual fax machine in 2023 lol

Anybody else feel like they need a law degree just to navigate this stuff? 🧑⚖️ EDD's website is like a maze designed by Satan himself

Same thing happened to me last year! The key is being persistent and organized. I made copies of EVERYTHING and sent it multiple ways - mail, fax, AND uploaded through their portal if possible. Also keep a log of every call you make with date/time/who you spoke to. It took about 6 weeks but they eventually corrected mine. Don't give up! 💪

•This is super helpful! 6 weeks feels like forever but at least there's hope 😅 Did you have to keep calling during those 6 weeks or did they eventually reach out to you once they processed everything?

•@Jacob Lewis That s'really encouraging to hear! Did you notice any delays in your benefit payments while they were reviewing the wage correction, or did everything continue normally during those 6 weeks?
