Can't reach UI rep for unemployment application - help!

Ugh, welcome to the club. I've been trying to reach them for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to get our benefits or something 🙄

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Pro tip: Try calling right when they open. I managed to get through after a few attempts doing this. Good luck!

Has anyone tried reaching out to their local representative? I've heard some people have had success going that route when they can't get through to UI directly.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call early in the morning, like 5 minutes before they open 2. If you get a busy signal, hang up and immediately redial 3. Keep doing this until you get into the queue 4. Once in the queue, DO NOT HANG UP no matter how long it takes 5. Have all your info ready when you finally get through It's a pain, but persistence is key. Took me about 3 days of trying this method before I finally got through. Hope this helps someone!
