SDI payment delay - filed claim but no money received. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my SDI payments. I filed a claim but haven't received any money yet. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do to get this resolved? I'm getting worried about bills piling up.

I found a way to solve SDI payment delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6prWl7YAmo

Ugh, I feel ya. I've been there and it suuucks. Here's what I did: 1. Gather all your claim info 2. Call SDI (good luck getting through lol) 3. Ask them specifically why there's a delay 4. Get them to give you exact steps to fix it 5. Follow up like crazy Stay on top of it and don't let them forget about you! 💪

This is solid advice. I'd add: keep a log of every call, including who you talked to and what they said. It helps if you need to escalate later.

Oh man, getting through is a whole other battle. I usually try calling right when they open or just before they close. Sometimes works 🤷‍♂️

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20??? That's highway robbery! The system is so broken we gotta pay just to talk to someone smh

I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money, ya know?

have you checked your online account? sometimes there's info there about why payments are held up. could be missing docs or somethin

Ive been waiting 3 months for my first payment. This system is a joke. They expect us to live on air while they sit on our claims??? 🤬

3 months?! That's insane. Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things along.

No, I haven't. Didn't even know that was an option. How do I find out who my rep is?

Just google '[your city] state representative'. Most have forms on their websites for constituent services. Worth a shot!

Pro tip: If you can't get through on the phone, try faxing your inquiry. Old school, I know, but sometimes it works when nothing else does. 📠

Anyone else notice that SDI seems to be slower lately? I wonder if they're short-staffed or if there's been a policy change we don't know about. 🤔
