PFL claim submitted over a month ago - no updates or movement. What to do?
Hey everyone, I'm really frustrated with my PFL claim. I submitted it over a month ago and haven't heard anything back. No updates, no movement, nothing. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do? I'm thinking about calling them but I'm not sure what to ask or how to approach it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I went through something similar last year. Here's what I'd suggest: 1. Gather all your documents, including the submission confirmation. 2. Call them and ask for a status update. 3. Find out if there's any missing information they need. 4. Ask for a timeline on when you can expect a resolution. 5. I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Pro tip: call right when they open. You're more likely to get through and the reps aren't burnt out yet.

This might sound weird, but try faxing them. I did that out of desperation and got a response within a week. Guess no one uses fax anymore so it stood out 😂
