12 weeks no UI payments - EDD delays driving me crazy!

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my unemployment payments. It's been 12 weeks since I became eligible, but I still haven't received anything. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting worried about how long this is taking. Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat a few months ago. Have you tried calling them? It's a nightmare to get through, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

I've been trying to call for weeks now. It's impossible to get through! 😫 Any tips on the best time to call?

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

12 weeks?! That's insane. Have you checked your online account to see if there are any pending issues or required documents?

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

Can you give more details about how it works? Is it legit?

Sure! It's an automated system that calls and navigates the phone tree for you. When a real person answers, it connects you. Totally legit, just saves you the hold time.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check your online account for any flags or required documents 2. Send a message through the online portal asking about the status of your claim 3. Try calling early in the morning, right when they open 4. If you can't get through, consider using a paid service like Claimyr to connect you 5. As a last resort, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes help push things through Don't give up! The system is overwhelmed, but persistence pays off. Good luck!

This is solid advice. I'd add: keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. It might come in handy later.

This is why we need UBI. The current system is a joke. 🤡

Have you checked if your claim is under review? Sometimes they flag accounts for identity verification and don't tell you.

12 weeks is nothing. I've been waiting for 6 months. The system is completely FUBAR.
