SDI application stuck processing for a month - missing wage info?
Has anyone else been waiting forever for their SDI application to process? It's been a month and I'm still waiting. I think there might be some missing wage information, but I'm not sure. This is so frustrating! Any advice on how to speed things up or check if something's missing?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I was in the same boat a few months ago. It took them almost 6 weeks to process my application. Have you tried calling them? That's what finally worked for me.

I've been trying to call but can never get through. It's like hitting a brick wall every time š«

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way!

Check your online account if you haven't already. Sometimes they post notices about missing info there without actually contacting you directly. The system is so broken š

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20 just to make a phone call? That's ridiculous. The system is so messed up that we have to pay just to get basic service š”

I know it sounds crazy, but it seriously saved me weeks of frustration. Worth every penny imho

How does it work exactly? Do they give you a specific time to be ready for the call?

Yeah, you schedule a callback window. When they get an agent, they call you. Super simple.

Have you checked with your employer? Sometimes the holdup is on their end not submitting the right info. I had to bug my HR department for weeks before they finally sent in the correct forms.

Oh man, I didn't even think of that. I'll reach out to them tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion!

tldr; SDI is a mess rn. Budget cuts + increased claims = major delays. Your best bet is to keep calling and check your online account daily for updates. Good luck! š

Here's what I've learned from my SDI saga: ā¢ Always double-check that your employer submitted all required forms ā¢ Keep a detailed log of all your calls, online checks, and any correspondence ā¢ If you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out via social media (seriously, their Twitter team is surprisingly responsive) ā¢ Consider contacting your local state representative's office - they can sometimes expedite claims ā¢ Make sure all your medical documentation is up to date and properly submitted ā¢ If you're really desperate, that Claimyr service others mentioned can work, but it's a last resort Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is frustrating, but you'll get through eventually. Hang in there! šŖ

This should be pinned at the top of the subreddit. So helpful!

unpopular opinion: maybe if people stopped trying to game the system, it wouldn't be so backed up for those of us with legit claims š¤·āāļø

Bruh, you really think that's the problem? The system has been a mess for years. Don't blame other people who are struggling š

Anyone else feel like were living in a dystopian novel? We literally have to pay a third party just to access a government service we're entitled to. This country is a joke sometimes š¤”
