SDI: Last payment not received, anyone else experiencing delays?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my last SDI payment. It's been a few days since I was supposed to receive it, but nothing has shown up in my account. The payment was for the last few days of August and the first of September. Has anyone else experienced delays with their final SDI payments? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I had the same issue last month. It's so frustrating when you're counting on that money and it doesn't show up. Have you tried calling the SDI office? That's what finally worked for me.

I've been trying to call all morning but can't get through. It's like their phone lines are always busy or something. 😫

Pro tip: call right when they open. I mean like, the second they open. Set an alarm and everything. It's annoying but it works!

Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed 🤞

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20? That's a lot just to make a phone call. Is it really worth it?

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. And yeah, $20 isn't cheap, but considering how much time I wasted trying to get through, it was worth it for me.

I used it too! Totally legit. Got through in like an hour when I'd been trying for days on my own.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes the payment shows as processed there before it hits your bank account.

This happened to me once. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and they had to manually process a bunch of payments. It took about a week to get sorted out. Might be worth asking if there are any known issues when you get through to them.

Oh man, I hope it doesn't take a week to sort out. But thanks for the heads up, I'll definitely ask about that when I finally get through.

idk if this helps, but sometimes the last payment can be delayed if there's any change in your status. Like if you're going back to work or something. Did anything change on your end?

Hmm, not that I can think of. My status should be the same as it's been. But I'll double check just in case. Thanks!

Oof, dealing with SDI can be such a pain sometimes. Here's what I've learned from my experience: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of when you were supposed to be paid, when you actually got paid, and any communication you have with them. 2. If calling doesn't work, try emailing. Sometimes you can get a response faster that way. 3. Check your spam folder regularly. I once missed an important notice because it got filtered out. 4. If all else fails, contact your local state representative's office. They often have liaisons who can help with state benefit issues. 5. Be persistent but polite. The people on the other end of the line are just doing their jobs. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. 💪

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed advice! I'll definitely start keeping better records. And I had no idea about contacting my state rep - that's a great tip if things don't get resolved soon.

Have you tried checking the SDI website for any announcements or known issues? Sometimes they post updates there if there's a widespread problem.
