SDI Application Status Check - Weeks of Silence. Any tips to speed it up or get an update?

Hey everyone, I'm checking up on the status of my disability insurance application. It's been a few weeks and I haven't heard anything back. Has anyone else experienced long wait times? Any tips on how to get an update or speed up the process? I'm starting to get worried about my finances while I wait.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Just a heads up, make sure you're checking your mail carefully. They sent me a request for additional info that looked like junk mail, and I almost threw it out. Don't want your application to get delayed because of something like that!
