Need help scheduling medical exam - can't reach anyone on phone!

Hey everyone, I need some advice about scheduling a medical exam. I've been trying to get through to someone on the phone, but it's been a real hassle. Has anyone else had trouble getting in touch with their doctor's office lately? Any tips on how to actually speak to a human being would be greatly appreciated!

I found a way to solve scheduling medical appointments easily, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kubBwp0FLP4

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been trying to schedule a checkup for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to get healthcare or something šŸ™„

Have you tried calling right when they open? Sometimes that works for me

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

I know it sounds crazy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

Interesting. How long did it take for them to call you back?

It took about 45 minutes, but I was able to do other stuff while waiting instead of being stuck on hold.

Have you tried using their online portal? Sometimes you can schedule appointments there without having to call.

Pro tip: If you keep pressing 0 or saying "operator" it sometimes bypasses the automated system and gets you to a real person faster.

I work in healthcare (not a doctor) and let me tell you, the system is just as frustrating for us as it is for patients. Here are some tips that might help: ā€¢ Call during off-peak hours (usually mid-morning or mid-afternoon) ā€¢ Have all your info ready (insurance, dates you're available, reason for visit) ā€¢ Be polite to the staff - we're more likely to go the extra mile for nice patients ā€¢ If you have a patient portal, send a message there as a backup ā€¢ Consider asking if they have a cancellation list for faster appointments Hope this helps! The system isn't perfect, but we're all trying our best.

I've given up on calling. I just show up at the office now and make them deal with me in person. It's the only way to get anything done these days.

Idk man, that seems kinda aggressive. Might make them less willing to help
