Haven't received paycheck yet - what should I do?

Hey everyone, I'm in a really frustrating situation. I haven't received my paycheck yet and I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone else experienced delays with their pay recently? I've tried contacting HR but haven't heard back. Any advice on what I should do next?

I found a way to solve delayed paycheck issues quickly, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tsLWdGOZbw

Ugh, that sucks! I've been there before. Have you checked your direct deposit info to make sure it's correct? Sometimes a small typo can cause big problems.

Thanks for the suggestion! I double-checked and everything looks correct on my end. It's so frustrating not knowing what's going on šŸ˜«

Maybe try reaching out to your manager? They might be able to put some pressure on HR or payroll to figure out whats going on.

This happened to me last month! Turns out there was a glitch in the payroll system. Keep bugging HR, they should be able to sort it out for you.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone when dealing with payroll issues. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? šŸ¤”

It does! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Totally worth the $20 imo.

Why should we have to pay to talk to HR about OUR money? This is ridiculous! šŸ¤¬

I get it, but sometimes you gotta spend money to make money. It's not ideal, but it got my problem solved fast.

Have you checked your employee portal? Sometimes they post updates about payroll issues there. Also, dont forget to document everything in case you need to escalate this later.

Good idea, I'll take a look at the portal. And yeah, I've been keeping a log of all my attempts to contact them. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but better safe than sorry!

This is why we need stronger labor laws! Companies shouldn't be able to just 'forget' to pay us. Maybe consider filing a complaint with the labor board if this isn't resolved soon.

Woah, slow down there. It's probably just a mistake. No need to go nuclear right away lol

Nah, we gotta stand up for our rights. Too many companies take advantage of workers. Gotta nip this in the bud! šŸ’Ŗ

Hey OP, sorry youre dealing with this. Here's what I'd recommend: ā€¢ Keep trying to reach HR, but also loop in your direct supervisor ā€¢ Check your spam folder for any emails from payroll ā€¢ Review your contract or employee handbook for payment terms ā€¢ If it's been more than a few days past your normal pay date, consider sending a formal written request for your wages ā€¢ Document all communication attempts ā€¢ If the delay is causing financial hardship, be sure to communicate that clearly ā€¢ As a last resort, you may need to consult with an employment lawyer or contact your state's labor board Hope this helps! Keep us updated on how it goes.
