Finally got through to SDI about payment mistake - system update but have to pay back overpayment

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share an update on my SDI payment situation. I finally got through to someone on the phone and explained that I made a mistake on my claim. Good news is they're going to update the system! Bad news is I'll have to pay back what I was overpaid, but at least going forward there won't be any more holds on my payments. It's a relief to have this sorted out, even if it means I owe some money back. Anyone else been through something similar?

I get why it sounds sketchy, but it's legit. It's just a service that does the waiting for you. I was desperate after weeks of trying, so I gave it a shot. Worked for me, but I understand if others don't want to pay.

Pro tip: If you're having trouble reaching SDI, try calling right when they open in the morning. I've had better luck getting through that way.
