SDI claim updated over a month ago, processed but no payment received - Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my SDI claim. I updated it over a month ago, and it looks like it's been processed, but I still haven't received any payment. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Updated my claim 6 weeks ago and crickets since then. The system is so broken 🤦‍♂️

6 weeks? That's rough. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get things moving.

Yeah, I've tried calling but can never get through. It's like they don't want us to reach them 🙄

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 mins on hold that way!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep just to talk to someone...

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

Can you give more details about how it works? Do they guarantee you'll get through?

Sure! You just put in your phone # on their site, pay, and they start calling SDI for you. When an agent picks up, they connect you. No guarantee, but it worked for me first try.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with SDI for years: 1. Always keep copies of everything you submit 2. Follow up regularly - at least once a week 3. If possible, fax your documents. It's old school but seems to work better 4. Be persistent! Don't assume they're processing your claim 5. If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes expedite things Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP!

Wow, thanks for the detailed advice! I'll definitely try faxing my documents. Didn't even think of that!

Contacting your rep is solid advice. My cousin did that and got her issue resolved in a week!

This happened to me last year. Turns out they needed additional info but never notified me 🙄 Def try calling if you can!

Oh no, that's what I'm worried about. How long did it take you to resolve once you found out?

It took about 2 weeks after I finally got through and provided the missing info. Such a headache!

Quick question - did you receive any kind of confirmation when you updated your claim? Might be worth double-checking that it actually went through.

Good point! I got an email saying they received my update, but nothing since then.
