EDD Payment for Late Oct/Early Nov Missing - Any Solutions?

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my unemployment payment. I haven't received my payment for the last two weeks (end of October to mid-November). Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what could be causing the delay or what I should do next?

I found a way to solve delayed unemployment payments, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0S2RZB9RU78

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My payment for early November is MIA too. Have you checked your EDD account for any messages or alerts? Sometimes they'll post updates there.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked my account but didn't see anything unusual. No messages or alerts explaining the delay. It's so frustrating!

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a glitch in their system. Try calling them (good luck getting through tho 🙄

Calling EDD? Might as well try to win the lottery 😂 But seriously, it might be worth a shot if you can get through.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? $20 seems steep just to make a phone call.

I was skeptical too, but it actually worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. The $20 was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

I get the skepticism, but it's legit. They even have a money-back guarantee if you don't get through. Just sharing what worked for me 🤷‍♂️

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check your certification: Make sure you've completed all required certifications for those weeks. 2. Review your claim balance: Ensure you have enough funds left in your claim. 3. Check for identity verification issues: Sometimes payments get held up due to ID verification. 4. Look for pending interviews: If there's an eligibility issue, you might have a pending interview. 5. Contact EDD: If all else fails, you'll need to reach out to them directly. If you can't get through on the phone, try sending a message through your UI Online account. It's slow, but they do respond eventually. Hang in there! The system is frustrating, but persistence usually pays off.

This is great advice. Wish I had this info when I first started dealing with EDD. It's like you need a PhD in bureaucracy to navigate their system 🤦‍♂️

Not to be that person, but... welcome to the wonderful world of EDD 🎪🤡 Where payments are made up and the timelines don't matter!
