The P-EBT cards are SOOOO confusing!! I had to call like 5 different places when mine didn't show up last year. First CalFresh said call the school, then school said call P-EBT, then P-EBT said call CalFresh again... it was a NIGHTMARE. And nobody could even tell me if my kids were getting cards or not!! BUT I will say updating your address with BOTH the school AND CalFresh is definitely the right first step. Better than what I did lol. Just keep all your confirmation papers in case you need to prove you changed your address. The system is sooooo broken.

Has anyone actually received P-EBT cards for 2024-2025 yet? I thought they weren't being sent out until August at the earliest? At least that's what our school district told us.

One more thing I'd recommend - take screenshots of your updated address in both your CalFresh account and your children's school portal (if they have one). Documentation is extremely helpful if there's any issue with your P-EBT cards being sent to the wrong address. With those screenshots, you can prove you did everything correctly if you need to request replacement cards.
