Do you still get unemployment if you get fired - Washington ESD eligibility question
Got terminated from my warehouse job last week for what they said was 'performance issues' but I think it was really because I complained about safety violations. I'm hearing conflicting info about whether you can collect unemployment if you get fired vs if you quit. Does Washington ESD still approve your claim if you were terminated? I really need to know before I file because I can't afford to wait weeks just to get denied.
