Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Just want to add that even if your claim takes a while to get approved, you'll get backpay for all the weeks you were eligible and filed weekly claims. So don't worry about 'losing' those weeks during the waiting period.
That's reassuring to know. I've been filing weekly so hopefully those will all get paid out once approved.

Based on everything I've read here and my own experience, 2-3 weeks seems normal for straightforward layoff situations. Anything involving misconduct allegations, wage disputes, or complex work histories will take longer due to adjudication.

if anyone is still following this thread - i found that calling washington esd right at 8am when they open gives you the best chance of getting through. but even then it can take multiple tries

8am calling worked for me too but honestly claimyr was easier than setting alarms and speed dialing
Bottom line - with your salary level you should qualify for a decent weekly benefit, probably in the $400-500 range depending on your exact quarterly breakdown. The system is confusing but it works once you get through the initial hurdles.

The hardest part honestly is just getting started. Once you get through that initial application and your first few weekly claims, it becomes pretty routine. The website can be slow sometimes but it's mostly straightforward.
