Can I get Washington ESD unemployment if I'm fired from my job?
I might be getting fired from my retail job next week and I'm freaking out about money. My manager has been writing me up for small things and I think they're building a case to terminate me. If I get fired, can I still file for unemployment benefits through Washington ESD? I've heard conflicting things - some people say you can't get UI if you're fired, others say it depends on the reason. I've been working there for 8 months and this is my first real job. What should I expect if I apply for unemployment after being fired?
