Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

Jennifer, I completely understand your frustration - I've been in a similar situation waiting months for my to be processed. One thing that helped me was documenting everything in writing and sending certified letters to VEC with your case details and timeline. Also try calling right at 8:15 AM when they open - I've had better luck getting through then. Have you tried reaching out to your local delegate's office too? Sometimes they can help escalate cases that have been stuck for months. Hang in there, and don't give up!

This is such a frustrating situation that so many of us are dealing with! I'm also waiting on a deputy review - it's been 4 months for me. I've called multiple times and keep getting the same "be patient" response. It's really hard to be patient when you need these benefits to survive. Has anyone had any luck getting escalated or reaching someone higher up who can actually help move these cases along? It seems like there should be some kind of timeline or accountability for how long these reviews can take.

I had this exact same issue when I signed up online! The PIN isn't automatically generated - you have to call VEC directly to get it set up. I know it's frustrating having to call after doing everything online, but that's just how their system works unfortunately. When you call, have your SSN and confirmation number from your online registration ready. They'll verify your info and either give you a PIN over the phone or tell you when it'll be active. Don't give up - once you get past this hurdle, the weekly filing is pretty straightforward!
