Where to download Money Network Card app for PA unemployment benefits?

I've been trying to figure out how to download the app for my Pennsylvania unemployment debit card. I need to track my benefit payments but can't find the right app in the app store. When I search for 'unemployment card' I get dozens of results but none seem official. Does anyone know the exact name of the Money Network app for PA UC benefits? Or maybe a direct link to download it? Thanks in advance for any help!

Pennsylvania UC benefits use the Money Network Mobile App. Search for 'Money Network Mobile' (not unemployment) in your app store. The icon looks like a blue and white MN logo. Once downloaded, you'll need to register using your Money Network card information. You can check balances, see transaction history, and set up alerts.

Thank you SO much! I was searching for 'unemployment card' and 'PA unemployment' - no wonder I couldn't find it. I'll try 'Money Network Mobile' right now.

Thanks! Did you have to set up anything special when you first logged in? Any verification steps I should be prepared for?

Is anyone else having MAJOR issues with the Money Network app?? Mine crashes CONSTANTLY and sometimes shows the wrong balance which nearly gave me a heart attack thinking my benefits were gone!! Called their customer service 3 times and they just blame my phone even though it's brand new. This whole system is a JOKE!!

Yeah same here! The app is terrible. I took screenshots of my balance just in case. Last month it showed $0 for two days then suddenly my money appeared again. No explanation.

The app does have issues sometimes. If you're having persistent problems, you can also check your balance by calling the number on the back of your card or logging into the Money Network website on a computer instead of using the app.

Just a heads up - make sure you download the legitimate app. There are several fake Money Network apps that try to steal your information. The official one is published by "Money Network Financial, LLC" and has several million downloads. Always check the developer name before downloading financial apps.

Oh wow, didn't think about scam apps! Thanks for the warning. I'll double-check the developer name before downloading anything.

I had so much trouble contacting Money Network when my card wasn't working right. If anyone needs to actually talk to someone at PA Unemployment about card issues (or any claim problems), I finally had success with Claimyr (claimyr.com). They got me through to an actual PA UC agent who fixed my card access issue in minutes. Totally worth checking out their demo video: https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2

Is this legit? I've been trying to get through to UC for WEEKS about my card showing inactive. Might try this if it actually works.

Yeah it's legit. My card was showing 'inactive' too even though I had an active claim. The UC rep I got through to had to relink my claim to my card account. Fixed it right away after I'd been struggling for days.

I have question related too this. My benefit year ended last week and I filled new claim. Will my money card still work for new benefits or do I need to download diferent app? Anyone know?

Your existing Money Network card will continue to work with your new benefit year. You don't need a new card or a different app - funds from your new claim will be deposited to the same card once your new claim is approved. The app remains the same regardless of benefit year changes.

Update: I found the app! For anyone else looking, search for "Money Network Mobile" exactly like that. Make sure the developer is Money Network Financial, LLC. I had to set up an account with my card info and now I can see all my transactions. Thanks for everyone's help!

Glad you got it working! Did you have to verify your identity? Last time I tried setting up my account it kept saying they couldn't verify me and I gave up.

I didn't have any verification issues beyond entering my card details and setting up security questions. Maybe try again? The app seems a bit finicky but at least I can see my funds now.

@Giovanni Rossi Try clearing your browser cache or uninstalling/reinstalling the app if you re'still having verification issues. Sometimes their system gets glitchy with stored data. Also make sure your personal info matches exactly what s'on file with PA UC - even small differences like middle initials can cause problems.

Pro tip: Once you get the Money Network Mobile app set up, enable push notifications for deposits and low balance alerts. Really helpful to know right away when your weekly benefits hit your card. Also, if you're having trouble with the app crashing like some others mentioned, try force-closing it completely and reopening rather than just switching between apps - seems to help with the stability issues.

That's really helpful advice! I had no idea you could set up notifications for deposits. I've been manually checking the app every day to see if my benefits came through. The force-closing tip is good too - I noticed the app does seem to run better when I fully restart it rather than just switching back to it. Thanks for sharing these tips!

Another useful feature in the Money Network Mobile app is the ATM locator - it shows you nearby fee-free ATMs where you can withdraw cash without extra charges. Just tap the "Locations" tab in the app. This saved me a lot in ATM fees since some machines charge $3-4 for non-network withdrawals. Also, you can set up direct deposit to move funds to your regular bank account if you prefer, though there might be a small transfer fee depending on how you do it.
