Have you checked your mail/email? Sometimes they send requests for additional info and if you miss responding to those letters they'll cut you off. Check your spam folder too!

try reaching out to your state rep! I emailed mine after 2 months of no payment and magically got a call from unemployment 3 days later. they have special channels to escalate cases.

I lost 4 months of benefits before i could finally get through. Kept all my job search records and they eventually paid me everything they owed. DONT STOP CERTIFYING WEEKLY even if you're not getting paid!!

call at exactly 7:30 AM when the system first opens. thats the only time ive ever gotten through without waiting 3+ hours

Have you tried submitting a message through their contact portal? Sometimes that works better than calling. But u still need to follow up like crazy.

Contrary to what everyone is saying, I actually got through on the phone by calling the unemployment office for a DIFFERENT state first, then asking them to transfer me to NY. Somehow that bypassed the main queue. Worth a try! 🤷‍♀️

ur gonna laugh but try sending them a fax. seriously. the old school methods sometimes work better cuz nobody uses them anymore. my brother got his issue fixed in a week after faxing them a letter about his situation
