your supposed to keep certifying. even with a $0 benefit, keep certifying every week. sometimes additional programs become available and they'll automatically enroll you if your still in the system. just my 2 cents.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I called in (took forever to get through) and they told me I had to file a whole new claim because my benefit year was ending, even though I didn't have new employment. It's a weird technicality in the system.

the ny unemployment system is literally designed to be confusing so people give up 🤮 they WANT you to stop trying so they don't have to pay benefits. KEEP TRYING and don't let them win!
