Help with DPSS recertification - can't find the right option!
Hey everyone, I'm trying to do my DPSS recertification but I'm having trouble finding the right option. I've searched for 'CA DPSS Recertification' but I'm not sure which specific option to choose. Has anyone gone through this process recently? Any tips on navigating the system would be really helpful!

I found a way to get someone on the phone without the crazy wait times! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's what worked for me: 1. Go to the DPSS website 2. Click on 'Online Services' 3. Look for 'YBN' (Your Benefits Now) 4. Log in to your account 5. There should be a 'Recertification' option under 'Actions' If you don't see it, your recertification might not be due yet. Hope this helps!

Quick question - does anyone know if the recertification process is different for CalFresh vs. Medi-Cal? I need to do both and I'm not sure if it's the same form or separate.

•From what I remember, you can do both at the same time if they're due around the same period. There should be checkboxes to select which programs you're recertifying for.

PSA: Don't forget to gather all your documents before starting the recertification process! You'll need proof of income, rent/mortgage, utilities, etc. Makes it go way smoother if you have everything ready.
