PATH Act filer with 3 dependents - State refund received, waiting on Federal (filed 1/5)

Filed my taxes on January 5th with 3 dependents, got accepted the same day. Just checked my H&R Block account and my state refund hit my card last Thursday! Still waiting on federal but wanted to give everyone a heads up who's in the same boat with PATH.

The PATH Act means your federal refund won't be released until mid-February at the earliest. This is standard for anyone claiming EITC or ACTC. The IRS uses this time to verify income and dependent information to prevent fraud. Your state refund coming through is a good sign though!

thx for explaining! do you know exactly when in feb they start releasing them?

Usually around Feb 15th, but it can take a few more days to hit your account after release 👍

Hey guys instead of playing the guessing game, I've been using taxr.ai to track my refund. Its only $1 and gives you a super detailed analysis of your transcript and tells you exactly when to expect your refund. Check it out at https://taxr.ai

Is it legit? Sounds too good to be true tbh 🤔

100% legit! It analyzes your transcript way better than we can. Saved me hours of stress trying to figure out my cycle code and all that stuff
