IRS rejected return over spelling error - resubmitted through TurboTax - will they accept now?

Just resubmitted my taxes after fixing a spelling error that caused rejection. Used TurboTax and had their experts review everything before submitting again. The IRS website isnt showing any updates yet. Really hoping it goes through this time.

Tax pro here - spelling errors usually don't cause rejections unless they're on critical fields like your name, SSN, or employer info. Double check those fields match exactly whats on your W2s and social security card. The IRS system is pretty strict about these matches.

It was my middle name that had the issue. Fixed it to match my social security card exactly

Perfect, that should do it then. Give it 24-48 hrs for the IRS systems to process the new submission

Hey if you want a really clear picture of whats going on with your return, check out taxr.ai - its only $4.99 and the AI reads your transcript and tells you exactly whats happening and when to expect your refund. Way better than trying to guess what the IRS codes mean lol

Yeah its legit! Just uploads your transcript and the AI breaks everything down. Saved me hours of googling random codes

How accurate is it with predicting refund dates?

Super accurate in my experience. It analyzes all your transcript codes and gives you specific dates. Even tells you if theres anything that might delay it

Quick tip: always use ALL CAPS when entering names on tax returns. Thats how the IRS system reads them and it reduces rejection chances.
