IRS Agent Released My Return - How Long Until Direct Deposit?
Just got off the phone with an IRS agent who released my return from hold. They mentioned 6-8 weeks for mail but faster with direct deposit. Anyone know how long it usually takes to get a deposit date after a release?

Tax pro here - typically after a manual release, you should see movement on your transcript within 7-10 business days. Direct deposit usually hits 5-7 days after you get your DDD (direct deposit date). Keep checking your transcript daily for updates!
