How to get State Tax Transcript? Need help navigating state tax portal
I need help getting my state tax transcript. I tried going to my state website but I keep going in circles. Does anyone know the actual steps to get this? Its getting really frustrating and I need it for a mortgage application thats due next week.

For CA, go to ftb.ca.gov, create a MyFTB account if you haven't already. Once logged in, look for 'View Account Info' then 'Tax Return History'. You can download transcripts there 👍

Right now its just federal but they told me state transcript analysis is coming soon! The federal analysis is insanely good tho, saved me hours of headache 🙌

Pro tip: call your state tax office early in the morning right when they open. Way shorter wait times and the morning crew tends to be more helpful tbh

TX comptroller website -> File -> Request a copy of your return. But heads up their system has been down like half the time lately 🙄
