How to get IRS transcripts online instead of waiting for mail delivery?
Tired of waiting for IRS documents in the mail. Anyone know how to get transcripts online? I tried creating an account but got stuck at the verification step. Really need my 2022 transcript asap for a mortgage application.

You can get your transcripts online through the IRS website. Go to IRS.gov and look for 'Get Transcript Online.' You'll need to create an ID.me account which requires a photo ID, SSN, and a phone that can receive texts. They might also ask for a credit card number or loan info to verify your identity. Once verified, you can access all your transcripts instantly.

PSA: Make sure to save/download your transcripts once you get access. The system sometimes logs you out randomly and you have to reverify everything 🙄
